We work alongside well renowned clients including managing agents such as Bidwells, waste management companies such as FCC Environment, and building contractors such as SDC, Kier, Hill, Taylor Wimpey, Vistry and more. We are a growing Company, looking to expand our team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Grounds Maintenance Operative with previous experience. Ideally, although not essential, you will have an understanding of seasonal grounds maintenance management.
Tasks include, but are not limited to, grass cutting with ride on/push mowers and strimmers; pruning shrubs and trees with shears, loppers, hedge cutters, and chainsaws (if qualified); removal of weeds with herbicide and by hand; leaf and debris collection using blowers and vacuums.
Travel to various locations within East Anglia in a Company vehicle from our Head Office in Welney (10 min North of Ely). Hours of work will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, usually 06:45 to 15:45 with opportunity for overtime during the week and on Saturdays if desired.

Experience in grounds maintenance

7.5 tonne lorry licence
Mechanical skills
Horticultural qualification
Other qualifications, e.g. chainsaw, excavator, forestry and arboriculture

**Salary**:
Range from £9.50 to £13 per hour depending on age, experience, and qualifications (overtime rate is time and a half). Salary will be discussed upon interview.
