Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Asset Planner/Scheduler, based in Aberdeen.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and company HSEQ procedures
- Responsible for working closely with the asset team on all aspects of work preparation through to execution and subsequent after-action review and close out, in the preparation and co-ordination of Asser Planning support:

- Primary focus on planning of Legislative and Regulatory requirements, especially Safety Critical and Environment Critical work scopes.
- Detailed planning of work scopes to eliminate Operational Risk Assessments.
- Challenge deviation from Planning Gates to avoid change and associated waste, leading to improved safe execution.
- Responsible for working closely with the asset team on all aspects of work preparation through to execution and subsequent after-action review and close out, in the preparation and co-ordination of Asser Planning support:

- Primary focus on planning of Legislative and Regulatory requirements, especially Safety Critical and Environment Critical work scopes.

- Compliance with Integrated Activity Planning and Scheduling (IAPS) Process.
- The integration of functional and 3rd party plans.
- Ensuring plans are optimised for production efficiency.
- Preparation of planning data in support of annual Business Planning cycle.
- Enforcing IAPS planning process stage gates.
- Confirms plant status required for work execution, material delivery date, labour availability and any external or production constraints when scheduling a work order
- Assesses Work Criticality against performance standards and business plan
- Ensures that schedules are loaded within resource constraints, highlighting to schedule owners where prioritisation decisions are required
- Co-ordinating with the Marine, Aviation and Materials Teams to identify support requirements for optimised execution of associated work scopes.
- Develops the 6-week schedule window, providing a reliable scheduling service to the offshore organisation, accounting for: compliance dates, resource availability and lead times, planned equipment outages and known constraints, e.g. POB.
- Ensuring schedule stability through aligning work order start dates with material and resource availability and understanding potential threats from non-maintenance scopes in the 6 Week plan horizon.
- Creates pre-reads for both the weekend schedule review by the offshore team and the weekly review with the combined offshore and onshore team of the 6week plan
- Provision of schedule data to support decision making within the asset team, providing lookback information and 'actual' data to support lessons learned and improved plan attainment, including maintenance of benchmarking data.
- Ensuring the impact of scope addition or growth is incorporated, understood, communicated and recorded.
- Ensuring plan deviations (unplanned/urgent activity requests) are resolved with Planning Stakeholders, e.g. Materials, Aviation and Marine functions.
- Creating and maintaining baselined plans and progress review.
- Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager.
- Applies metrics to facilitate and manage improvement in planning and scheduling.
- Occasional support/cover for other planning roles, as instructed.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Working knowledge of Primavera in Industrial Maintenance or Operational Planning environment
- Proficient in use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
- Verified experience in planning and project management systems in hydrocarbon or similar process industry
- Appreciation of industrial equipment and machinery maintenance
- Overall understanding of entire value chain including projects, subsurface, HSE, logistics, procurement, design/construction, operation, maintenance/inspection
- Role model HSE behaviours
- Process driven attitude and mind-set
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a strong peer group and to drive toward optimal business solution
