Ashtead Technology have a brand new vacancy for a Hire Asset Planner to join the team on a permanent basis to support our group mechanical solutions operations.

Based at our Fintray site and reporting to the General Manager, this is a key role within the business which will be both challenging and rewarding. You will have the opportunity to help provide a complete planning service across a multi-asset business.
- **Principle Accountabilities**:_
- Responsibility for the integrated planning activities for equipment across the Mechanical Solutions function of the Group
- Responsible for the global asset tracker and it is upkeep on a daily basis
- Ensuring engagement with key internal and external stakeholders
- Recognising opportunities and risks and working with stakeholders to identify and execute mitigations that will ensure project delivery, on time and on budget
- Conduct and lead regular schedule review meetings with the project teams
- Provide overall direction and guidance to the project teams
- Manage 3rd party suppliers for the supply of equipment
- Mange Equipment utilisations, sending out regular reports
- Assist in the location of equipment globally
- **To be successful in this role you will**:_
- Have Enthusiasm, drive and energy to meet expectations
- Have significant experience in planning, ideally in subsea and topside support equipment
- Have strong influencing skills
- Have excellent presentation and communication skills
- Have ability to co-ordinate the planning of several projects simultaneously
- Confident and experienced user of asset tracking and stock control system
- Self-motivated, flexible, organised and able to work on own initiative
- **Qualifications, skills and experience**:_
- Qualified to at least HNC level preferably in Mechanical Engineering, or proven track record in similar position
- Good technical knowledge and background
- Commercially experienced
- Team Player
