We are currently recruiting for a professional accounts assistant to join our busy finance department to assist and maintain the purchase ledger. You will be part of a dynamic fast-paced accounts team reporting to the Group Financial Controller. This is an exciting time to join the team in a varied and rewarding role.

As an accounts assistant we’re looking for you to have previous experience within accounts along with exceptional data inputting skills with the ability to deal with complex situations.

Applicants will ideally have a minimum of a year's experience of working within purchase Ledger and have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

**Duties**:

- Matching, checking & coding invoices
- Maintaining Accounts Payable inboxes
- Insuring the prompt payment of supplier invoices within our agreed term
- Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Reconciliations of supplier statements
- Analysing documents
- Develop and maintain good relationships with relevant teams, employees and suppliers
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Financial Controller

The Successful Accounts payable Ledger Clerk:

- Good attention to detail
- Highly organised
- Have solid team working skills
- Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good knowledge of Excel & Word
