Credit Investment Specialist - Liquid Markets - London

We are looking for an Investment Specialist to represent our Investment Grade Credit strategies within our Liquid Market function. This role sits within a team that acts a conduit between portfolio management and sales functions representing our capabilities with clients_._

A bit about the job:
This role is within the Credit Investment Specialist team covering our Global Investment Grade and Global Climate Transition Strategies. The Credit team manages over $105bn of assets across a range of investment strategies including Emerging Market Debt, Liquidity, Global High Yield, and Investment Grade strategies. The team consists of over 65 portfolio managers, and analysts.

The role will encompass three key functions:

- Strong communication and presentational skills- Confident network and relationship builder, both external and internal- Regulatory threshold competent and approved- Client facing experience representing active fixed income / credit strategies- Effective and up-to-date regulatory knowledge

In this role you’ll be ‘Certified’ under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ and competent to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
