Gp Liaison Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity for a GP Liaison Coordinator to support our Chief Medical Officer and Head of Marketing to drive growth by increasing patient referrals and developing key stakeholder relationships and communications.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Organising monthly and ad-hoc virtual and in-person educational events.
- Visiting GPs in their practices (independently or with CMO d.o.e) to offer specialist consultant-led talks.
- Being the key point of contact between the hospital and the external referring healthcare community, engaging with stakeholders and building relationships.
- Keeping GPs updated on new consultants, services, events, training and hospital activities through calls, visits and newsletters.
For those with a marketing background, additional responsibilities for a Marketing and GP Liaison will include assisting in the production of marketing publications and campaigns, social media, leaflets, website updates and internal communications.
**The Hospital**
The New Foscote Hospital has been successfully established in Banbury for 40 years and has provided services and treatments to thousands of people from across the region during this time. We have over 50 consultants, all of whom are leaders in their specialist fields and choose to hold their private practices here, working alongside our friendly, highly qualified and experienced nursing and support teams.
Our organisation has strong IT, operational, clinical governance and accountancy support.
The New Foscote Hospital is owned, managed and run by clinicians. All colleagues are encouraged to feel empowered and to have an active voice on the management of their services.
**About You**
- Experience working in the private healthcare industry would be advantageous.
- A proven track record in an account management role.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong IT literacy and organisational skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Flexibility to work the occasional evening for scheduled events when required.
- Tenacity and resilience with a strong desire to achieve targets.
- Experience using Mailchimp, Canva, Wordpress and social media marketing would be advantageous but not essential.
