**The Role**

Part-time (1-2 days) mainly remote, home based working. Occasional onsite work maybe needed.

We are recruiting for a Compliance Officer to join our team to support with monitoring and improving regulatory compliance in accordance with the relevant standards.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within a regulatory framework, such as Health and Social care Act.

Ideal experience will include knowledge of CQC compliance and regulations, KLOES, policies and procedures.

**Key Duties**
- Working with the Medical Director and Registered Manager, you will support and guide the existing team, explain and implement the best practice processes.
- Provide regulatory advice and support to our team. This includes reviewing and submitting our regulatory statutory notifications and making sure our registered manager understands their responsibilities.
- Update our key operational policies and procedures so they are in line with changes in legislation.
- Jointly with the Registered Manager, take responsibly to develop effective compliance monitoring, support and improvements.
- Take responsibility for internal regulatory, administrative and quality processes e.g infection control, HR, and clinical audits.
- Attending relevant meetings and take minutes.
- Work with and build positive relationships with a range of internal and external people, including our regulators and local authority.
- Deputise for the Compliance Manager in organisational forums and other meetings, as required.
