We have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Quality Technologist to join our product team at our head office in Swindon. The position is a fixed term contract for 8 months with a further extension for 12 months maternity cover, totalling 20 months.

The role can be managed with hybrid working, with three days at home and two in the office.

Product technology is about the safety and quality of our products. They must be legal and meet our customer and business expectations and you will be able to play a part in ensuring they are the highest quality.

In this Product Quality Technologist role, you will be examining our products and analysing data, patterns, and trends to identify improvements and liaise with suppliers to provide continuous developments.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be curious about how products are made, how they are developed, and how they perform.

Ideally you would have some background product quality, however, if you can demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a meticulous eye for detail then we can provide training.

**Key responsibilities**
- Reviewing new products to ensure they meet our suitability to end use
- Analysing data, looking for patterns and trends
- Monitor customer feedback and complaints, taking action to maintain and improve product quality
- Regularly liaising with external suppliers and internal stakeholders including buyers
- Establish and maintain robust technical files
- Define product regulatory requirements for all markets
- Conducting product risk assessments and ensure our products are safe
- Support in the definition of product quality and performance requirements, generating technical specifications and setting test protocols

**Skills and Experience**
- Analytical and numerical skills
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Some experience in a similar role would be desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage lots of different tasks
- Critical thinker and the ability to problem-solve
- Ideally degree in engineering, science, or other relevant degree or qualification
