This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for an Estates and Workplace Maintenance Planner to work for one of the best employers and luxury brands in Scotland Salary £35,000 - £38,000 plus an excellent benefit (depending on experience) and working hours between 7.30am - 4pm, Monday to Friday with flexible working (38.5 hrs per week).
Role overview:
You will take ownership, coordinate and deliver the Facilities maintenance program across all sites, ensuring physical assets are maintained to the highest standard across all aspects of organisational excellence. Experience in delivering multi-discipline Facilities/Estates & Workplace management in the UK. You will be naturally service orientated, with the compliance and needs of the customer having a strong influence on decision making.
- Manage the delivery of the Facilities maintenance program, complying with Health and Safety, other legislation, organisational policies, and procedures across the entire Company Estate, ensuring prioritisation is given in accordance to the level of risk (Manage daily Facilities Tickets)
- Address and remediate FM-related risks, hazards and threats to people, property, and premises
- Maintain the Facilities maintenance programme's document archives ensuring full compliance with HSE regulations and ISO
- Standards
- Manage departmental KPIs in specific & relevant tasks/areas to ensure the team are delivering to expectations
- Gather, analyse, & report FM-related information for continuous improvement and predictive maintenance purposes
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers to ensure the effective delivery of a range of facilities maintenance
- Services
- Support sustainable practices in FM whilst promoting the company's sustainability strategy
- Support hard FM functions and the Asset Manager, particularly around asset maintenance, insurance inspections and financial
- control etc.
- Maintain and develop competence in the FM industry/sector through participation of FM projects
- Ensure strict adherence to policies such as Work to Permit
- Build a strong network of stakeholders through collaboration and excellent proactive communication
Skills and Desirable Experience required
- Expertise in Facilities/Estates Management, (relevant degree or proven experience)
- Proven project management experience or (e.g Prince 2 Qualified)
- Commercially aware (Business experience)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to manage conflict with a positive approach to solution finding
- Knowledge of legal and mandatory requirements
- Sound knowledge of Financial Management/experience in budget management
