**Team Leader**:
The position of Team Leader is a front-line leadership role within the care setting. As a team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the Caseload manager with all aspects of the day-to-day operations within the care setting, including managing staff, and ensuring that the quality of the services provided meets national care standards.

As a Team Leader, you'll be responsible for meeting national minimum standards of care issued by relevant bodies, mainly the Care Quality Commission (CQC) - the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Duties include: - Ensuring safe service delivery by coordinating quality, person-centred care - Supporting the Caseload Manager with creating high quality and innovated support planning, attending statutory and case reviews - Supporting the Caseload Manager to gather stakeholder feedback to inform service improvement. - Supporting the emotional and behavioural needs of clientele - Developing new team members and supporting the induction process, including probation and observation - Mentoring, coaching, and supervising staff in line with employment terms, conditions, and law - Supporting the Caseload Manager in chairing meetings and ensuring effective communication - Maintaining quality standards and ensuring health and safety compliance 2 - Liaising with local authorities/NHS, and maintaining partnerships with local community organisations - Supporting the Caseload Manager to ensure all CQC regulated activity meets the relevant legal standards (compliance and auditing) - Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults at risk - Providing information, advice, and support to families/guardians/stakeholders - Organising activities and actively promoting independence and access to services - Contribute to compliments and complaints, accidents, incidents, whistleblowing and/or safeguarding’s in partnership with the Business Excellence Manager - Delivering visible leadership and support by following Company Values, being a role model, and aiming for the CQC ‘outstanding’ rating - Required to contribute to the On Call Rota.
Skills & Experience
Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care and working towards Level 3 - Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths OR GCSE A*-C English and Maths/GCSE Grade 4 or higher from 2018-present - Experience using positive behavioural strategies and restrictive practise interventions - Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others. - The ability to think strategically to develop your teams. - Good project management and organisational skills - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, using a variety of communication methods - A passion for working with people and providing person-centred care - The capacity to work under pressure and to take a problem-solving approach to work, with the ability to motivate others - Effective organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise your own and others workload - An understanding of accountability to comply with regulatory requirement
