**Company Description** IPS - a part of Culina group is the largest co-packer in the UK, working with some of the best-known food brands to provide cost-effective and innovative co-packing, co-filling and co-manufacturing solutions. We are currently recruiting for a Production Planner to join our IPS site in Dudley, on a full time and permanent basis. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm **Salary**: £25,000 per annum Working closely with the Operation, the Production Planning Manager will be responsible for creating the week to week production schedule, giving the Operation the very best chance of meeting company efficiency targets & ensuring delivery in full. Main Duties & Responsibilities: - Manage Creation of Daily/Weekly production schedule within our Operations & Planning system "Vision". - Manage Creation of Production Line works orders within our Operations & Planning system "Vision". - Work closely with the operation on a daily basis to ensure planned targets and customer deadlines are being met & priorities are advised. - Escalate any operational issues to the Planning Manager. - Link in with Sales & Operations team through regular meetings, to escalate any plan target shortfalls. - Create measures and define processes to take the role and the business forward. - Attendance to various production and planning meetings. - Work with a team of Material Planners ensuring smooth process in line with KPI’s - Highlight any requirements for concession for OOD stock - Review planning rates - Review plans based on materials and labour availability. - Administer material data through IPS and Customer systems ( BOM Changes) - Report on Weekly Conformance to Plan - Attend Weekly customer meetings - Deal with any Issues highlighted by the customer with reference to plan changes to ensure a good relationship is maintained. **Qualifications** - Experience in the food manufacturing/packing industry is desirable but not essential - Production Planning - Experience of working in a customer-led environment with changing priorities - Experience within an administrative team in a production environment - Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to strict deadlines - A commitment to respond to changing customer needs - Able to work towards targets **Additional Information** In return, we offer: - Strong career stability and an opportunities to progress through within the business. - Competitive salary - Life assurance - Pension scheme - Retail Discount When our staff have passion for what they do they work with more care and attention which is reflected to our clients, Click APPLY NOW to #JoinOurWinningTeam and begin your career today
