**Job Description**.

**Job Title**: Warehouse/ Storage Manager

**Job Purpose**

To manage all storage sites within the business to maximise revenue. To develop robust systems within warehousing to ensure stock levels are accurately captured. Working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure space and workloads are managed for thequick receipt and despatch of vehicles.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage space within all areas of warehousing and storage across all sites.
- Develop, maintain and manage robust stock control systems throughout the site
- Ensure all storage is correctly billed out to customers across all sites.
- Plan future capacity requirements.
- Liaise with Customers and suppliers to ensure they have support with access to goods
- Liaising with Operational Managers to ensure out loading and receipt of goods is managed efficiently.
- Provide communication to warehouse teams to enable them to plan workload
- Manage all warehouse staff and take responsibility for appraisals, disciplinary procedures and accident reporting.
- Constantly challenge and develop systems and processes to improve warehousing & Storage.
- Provide support and Feedback to the HSQE department to ensure standards are maintained throughout the business.

Responsible for a site which has 4000 palletised spaces, external storage circa 6500 sqm
- We are also part of a pallet network handling circa 400 pallets per day.
- Heavy Storage sheds covering circa 8000 sqm. Overhead cranes of 100, 50 & 36 tonnes for the handling and storage of specialist, high value equipment
