Child Health Clerical Officer

To provide admin support to the community child health, medical and nursing staff within the Directorate enabling child health and school health services to be provided to the population of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (South).
To undertake filing and record storing duties associated with the child health services to support the medical and nursing staff in delivering services.
To access the National Child Health computer system and any associated clerical duties.
To undertake the ordering and supply of stationery to the Community Child Health staff working across Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (South).
To undertake general admin duties as required.
Liaise closely with child health admin manager, child health supervisors, community school nurses, health visitors and other field staff when clarifying queries relating to any aspect of the filing duties or the provision of stationery supplies.
Deal with telephone enquiries from community child health staff, taking appropriate action as requested.
Must be educated to a good standard of general education with experience of working with Microsoft Office software. Must have previous experience of filing in a busy office environment.
Must be able to prioritise own workload ensuring work is completed in a timely manner meeting necessary deadlines.
Update and maintain an accurate filing system for the Community Child Health records for the Church Village site ensuring all records are easily accessible to users.
File in strict alphabetical order ensuring shelves are clearly labelled.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
