We are recruiting a Plant Administrator to join our busy Plant and Transport department.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Updating all plant rates within the database
- Liaising with site management and the commercial team
- Recording and updating all vehicle mileage
- Recording and updating all vehicle fuel usage
- Maintain PPE records and place orders when necessary
- Control the repairs, testing and exchanges to any van kit
- Maintain the defect records
- Collate and finalise HGV hours and apportion accordingly
- Liaise with the Workshop Manager to cover all vehicle service and regular checks

**Skills and Knowledge Required**:

- An organised person capable of working to deadlines and being responsible for the day-to-day tasks involved with the busy Plant Administration Office
- Possess and good understanding of Excel and Word
- Demonstrate strong communications skills to deal with clients and employees at all levels of the business
- The ability to work to own initiative to suggest and implement process improvements
- Previous experience of working in plant and transport is desirable.
