Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure maintenance of HGV trailers in line with SLA’s and Fleet Assess operational requirements.
- Forward plan, weekly, monthly, and annually, maintaining, maintenance schedules/planners across all fleet and other plant and equipment.
- Develop a clear understanding of the operations and all related legislation.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with Customers and suppliers.
- To support the Hire controller, ensuring Fleet is prepped and ready for hire.
- Ensure timely monthly KPI reporting.
- Ensure all operational data is maintained accurately, scanned, and stored to the systems timely.
- Answer telephone calls and respond appropriately.
- Support changes in the role necessary to take the department and business forward.
- To raise estimates, job cards, and invoices to customers for chargeable work.
- Ensure all fleet lists are up to date, registered on the Companies database with all relevant information and updated when required.
- Must be computer literate, with good skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Maintain, enhance, and set up various spreadsheets with data timely and accurately.
- Provide support and cover when other staff are on leave.
- To use own initiative and bring forward ideas.
Qualifications:
- Previous Experience with Transport is beneficial for this position.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
