My Client is looking for a Transport Clerk to join their busy team...

Hours of work are 14.00 - 22.00 (Monday to Friday)

Pay £10.38 per hour

Overtime - 13.90 per hour

Duties will include:

- Go through handover and read - keep a copy on desk
- Print route sheet for following day - check against transnet for the following day (correct any errors & check against the board to make sure everything coincides)
- Check trunking resource (check how many Yusesns & Thetford loads we have the next day & check if we have enough drivers)
- Finish reschedules
- Check fleet summary on final plan (to see how many couriers/meet the driver there are
- See if there is any early delivery planned (07:00 - 08:00)
- Go to the Northampton tab on the final plan to cross check times/number of routes (filter routes and check vehicle size: 12T, 18T, Arctic, Vans, Couriers)
- Amend times on the route sheet and board (if necessary)
- Send booking start times to various agencies
- Close to 18:00 Create and send CSR for following day
- Check the BMI Report to note down which NDC Routes have BMI/BMI Chilled deliveries (update route sheet & board)
- Create and print night shift loading plan
- Print loading manifests (not double sided)
- Check transport and update it
- Start handover
