We are looking for a Senior Transport Operative based in our panettoni park site (NN7 4DE) to work rotating shifts Monday to Friday 0500-13:00/13:00-9:00. The position is offering the salary of £32917.5, plus £400 Rotating Shift allowance per annum

The position holder will be Responsible the provision of timely, accurate and appropriate administrative and operational information relating to activities undertaken within the Transport Dept. Establish a first-class service to the customer and Yusen Logistics (UK) Ltd within the economic constraints whilst maintaining excellent customer communications.

Key responsibilities:

- Co-ordinate customer deliveries and liaise with drivers traffic operators in a prompt and efficient manner, ensuring that customer requests are achieved.
- Ensure that any issues with meeting expectations are communicated both within Yusen Logistics business and to the customer
- The SCW procedure to be always followed in case of delay. Serve as the primary point of contact for all the operators.
- Identify and recommend appropriate resolutions to customer queries or failures incorporating SCW procedure, wherever it is required.
- Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operation and customer service.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity.

To be considered as a Traffic clerk, you will need:

- Warehouse and Transport understanding
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Team player
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- IT - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- Ability to work under pressure & to deadlines
