As a youth tutor you will train and assess learner knowledge and competence against criteria defined by the relevant awarding body. You will be providing a learning and assessment to youth learners ensuring the attainment of positive outcomes through the deliveryof classroom and vocational assessment and training.
**Duties including but not limited to**
- You will be responsible for providing specialist route support to learners within workshop or one to one settings
- You'll be responsible for ensuring learners timely achieve their qualifications
- Responsible for opening and registering qualifications
- You will be responsible for carrying out all organisational and administrative work. Preparation and marking associated with teaching assessment responsibilities
- You'll be accountable for supporting and fully engaging learners in their qualifications
- Responsible for maintaining quality standards as defined by internal and external quality assures
- You'll be responsible for maintain accurate, up to date records of all assessment activities
- You will be accountable for ensuring positive outcomes are evidenced
- You will have experience of work-based learning
- You will have a minimum QCF level 2 in health and social care
- You will have a full and valid drivers' licence and access to your own vehicle
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent administrative skills
- You will have an ability to work effectively within a team
- Good IT skills
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and prevention
