PSM Healthcare Ltd is actively searching for dedicated and adaptable Support Workers to become part of our West Midlands team. As a Support Worker, your pivotal role revolves around delivering exceptional care services to our Young People and associated professionals. Your mission is to empower Young People to maintain their independence and well-being within the comfort of their homes and communities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing compassionate and a high standard of support to young people.
- Upholding the dignity and respect of clients in every interaction.
- Ensuring the safety of all young people you are working with and actively engage with them in supporting them to access community.
- Encouraging young people's independence and fostering their participation in social activities.
- Nurturing relationships with young people to offer validation and build trusting relationships.
- Assisting with various aspects of care, including personal care, end-of-life care, and nutritional support.
- Precisely documenting daily support activities in the computer system.
- Offering support with skills preparing young people for eventual independence.
- Collaborating with fellow support workers and professionals to ensure comprehensive support to young people to ensure they achieve their full potential.
- Providing support to ensure that the environment the young people are living in is always clean and well-presented particularly shared spaces.

**Organisational Safeguards and Risk Mitigation in view of current and or previous convictions.**

1. You will not be required to drive as part of your duties or work-related activities while employed by PSM Healthcare Ltd

2. You will always adhere to the PSM Healthcare’s Alcohol and Substance Misuse Policy. Any reports of alcohol consumption affecting work performance will lead to immediate investigation.

4. Safeguarding and Professional Conduct Expectations as applicable

**Working Hours**, at PSM Healthcare Ltd, the minimum weekly commitment stands at 40 hours. Given the dynamic nature of health and social care, flexibility is crucial, which may involve working evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in accordance with Home Office guidelines.

**Salary**, the minimum rate is £12.44 per hour based on a 40 - hour working week, in alignment with the National Minimum Living Wage standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,174.44 per year
