Support Worker

**Duties**:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
- Assisting with daily personal care routines, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, and medication administration based on the specific needs of each child
- Help individuals develop and maintain social and life skills
- Accompany individuals to appointments, outings, and community activities
- Monitor and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate supervisor and also providing a caring and empathetic presence, offering emotional reassurance and helping children manage their emotions in a healthy way.
- Implementing strategies and interventions to address challenging behaviors and promote positive ones, fostering a supportive and structured environment.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with individuals with challenging behaviours and learning disabilities is mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and compassion for individuals with disabilities
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends if required
