- 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

**THE ROLE**
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our warm, professional and dedicated finance team.
This position will be to assist in the administration of the UK and Foreign purchase ledger by entering invoices, preparing payment runs and dealing with the day to day queries ensuring a high quality Accounts Payable function.
Duties include:
- Working closely with and supporting the operational finance team
- Ensuring prompt and accurate processing of supplier invoices
- Liaising with external suppliers and internal departments, responding and resolving queries.
- Reviewing working practices and suggesting improvements where available
- Completing new supplier bank detail verification, request forms and backup information
- Maintaining the foreign supplier ledger duties and raising manual payment requests in Bankline
- Providing cover for the Purchase Ledger Supervisor when required.
