**Associate Scientist 1 (Core Operations)**

**Your role**:
Entering through our Merck Training Academy, you will initially learn a variety of core lab techniques before transferring to one of our Glasgow Operations teams. Here you will join an active and highly motivated group within a well-equipped testing facility. Your day to day responsibilities will centre around performing routine GLP/GMP studies as requested for our clients' products. This includes preparing reagents and maintaining the labs to a high quality standard - including good housekeeping, equipment maintenance and stock control.

**Who you are**:

- You have an HND or higher qualification in a Biological or Chemical Science
- You are always focused on quality and safety
- You have strong planning and organisational skills
- You are a good team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You are self motivated with strong initiative and drive
- You have a good standard of written and spoken English and are computer literate
