As our Associate Scientist 2, you will be responsible for the performance of routine and custom GLP / GMP studies andgood housekeeping, equipment maintenance and stock control to ensure the smooth running of the laboratories. Duties of the role also include performing a wide variety of assays to support development and manufacturing processes within the pharmaceutical industry,makingscientific observations and completingdocumentation to the required industry standards; working within the laboratory following Standard Operating Procedures and relevant compliance regulations to ensure routine studies are completed on time and accurately recorded. **Who you are**: - HND or higher qualification in Molecular Biology or associated Biological Science discipline - Competent experience in a scientific laboratory role is required, ideally having worked to GLP and / or GMP - Experience in Molecular Biology techniques, including: nucleic acid extractions, PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA sequencing, or Southern blotting. Experience of working with LIMS is desirable - Due to the high volume, fast paced nature of our business, you must be experienced to cope with volume outputs, being solutions focused when faced with any problems or setbacks - Good standard of written and spoken English and PC literate **What we offer**: With us, there are always opportunities to break new ground.
