Maldon, United Kingdom Driftwood Coffee House Full time

**Driftwood is seeking an additional team member on a part-time basis to include Saturday and/or Sunday plus one weekday. Flexibility to cover colleagues' holidays and absences preferred.**

**Key areas of responsibility**:
Serving customers efficiently with food and drink orders and taking payments.

Assisting in preparation of coffee shop before, during and at the end of service including cleaning duties.

Preparation of food and beverages.

Offering customers exceptional standards of customer service and care.

**The role includes**:
Demonstrating highest standards of customer welcome and care when assisting customers, taking and delivering orders to tables.

Giving advice, guidance and recommendations on products and menu selection to customers to ensure a positive experience and repeat business.

Ensuring adequate stock levels of supplies and consumables for coffee shop area, managing orders and stock rotation.

Managing queues and meeting customer expectations, upsell to maximise profit.

Preparation and service of hot and cold beverages, breakfasts, lunches and cakes etc.

Keeping the areas tidy and clean including table clearing, removing dirties and waste, general cleaning procedures as part of daily shop open/close down.

Handling customer complaints in the first instance and reporting feedback to the Managers.

Working within established guidelines and operating procedures.

Ensuring compliance with all legislation, H&S and food hygiene.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £7.00-£10.00 per hour
