Instalcom Ltd are recruiting for a Traffic Management Designer to join our team.

Job Purpose

Responsible for the preparing of Traffic Management (TM) designs and as-built schematics for multiple cross contract planners and coordinators within the business.

Job Responsibilities
- Produce traffic management designs and as-built schematics to ensure works can be conducted safely and efficiently
- Liaise with the street works team to ensure best practice design proposals
- Take ownership of TM issues within, but not restricted to a given area or work stream
- Liaise with external and internal team members to ensure efficient production of TM designs
- Provide CAD support
- Assist with project administration
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety & CDM procedures
- Ownership of TM issues within, but not restricted to a given area or work stream
- Building and maintaining relationships with local authorities, internal street works team and planners
- Carry out any other duties appropriate for this role

Experience/Skills
- Previous experience of working within the Utilities industry
- Experienced in AutoCAD / BricsCAD or Cone to produce various types of TM drawings
- Lantra certification desirable
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills for regular interaction with internal staff & field representatives
- Ability to meet deadlines and when required work at an accelerated pace to deliver TM designs
- Ability work on own initiative and to work as part of a team
- Positive approach to work
