As owner of the Events activation across (Food) Digital you will work with stakeholders in Customer Marketing and Food Commercial to deliver an exceptional customer experience, enabling Sainsbury’s to exceed its sales and profit budgets.

**More about the role**
- Work with the Digital Customer & Event Planning Manager to define the quarterly digital campaign plan, in conjunction with marketing teams and other teams across the Ecommerce function
- Help build robust processes and lead a consistent approach to event and homepage planning and execution that are aligned with other cross functional teams.
- Own the homepage and high traffic planning process building on input from other teams within the Ecommerce function; with a particular focus on insight driven content and reactive trading of this critical trading area.
- Manage, plan and execute our customer events throughout the year working collaboratively with the relevant teams including Marketing and the wider Ecommerce teams.
- Represent the wider Sainsbury’s Ecommerce team in event planning across the business and be accountable for sharing the digital execution with key stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with online operations to ensure our key event activation is understood and aligned to delivering an optimum customer experience
- Work collaboratively with the Digital Operations Centre, design and analytics teams to activate and iterate and understand performance across key events and high traffic areas
- Manage the coordination of analytics during events and lead the digital post event reviews to identify key learnings and opportunities for subsequent activity
- Work with Customer Insight and other analytical teams to understand key customers trends and bring these to life where possible through our digital event proposition.
- Be the digital expert on competitor execution, bringing to life the different approaches and supporting learnings across key teams.
- Work collaboratively across the Sainsbury’s brands including Tu, Argos, Habitat and Bank to identify cross group shopping opportunities for our customers
- Support the Digital Customer and Event Manager and be the key contact for selected colleagues in marketing
- Own and deliver ecommerce specific customer projects as required
