Saints Foundation Trustee

Hours: 20+ hours per year, including 4 meetings per year

What will you be doing?

You’ll work alongside existing Trustees and the Saints Foundation leadership team to help the charity to develop and grow its impact across the local community in the coming years.

What are we looking for?
- Local community links including lived experience of the issues that we support.
- Knowledge of and links to the local health system and infrastructure.

Is this you?- You want to gain experience in the charity sector and the chance to make a positive change to the local community.- You have a passion for our city, and the role that Saints Foundation can play in affecting social change locally over the next few years.- You are keen to deliver and have the time commitment to maximise this opportunity, both for the charity and yourself.- You are comfortable with the legal and public obligations this role entails.- You do not need any previous board level or senior leadership experience to fulfill the role.

Please note that this position is voluntary and un-remunerated, though reasonable expenses will be paid. The Board meets at least four times a year, normally at St Mary’s Stadium, with most Trustees also joining other sub-committees or advisory panels. As such, applicants should expect to be spend at least 20 hours per year engaged in Saints Foundation business. A full induction and ongoing support will be provided.
