St Michael’s Hospital is a mental health in-patient unit, open 24/7, 365 days/nights per year with a Reception/Switchboard that supports all bases/sites for CWPT out-of-hours.
We rely on a team of admin staff to provide continual cover across days and nights for the Reception/Switchboard, to support patients, staff and visitors, some of whom may be distressed and in crisis. This includes the handling of telephone calls for on-call rotas during out-of-hours, eg, IT, Clinicians, Management, Estates, etc. This is a responsible post working with all staff disciplines and requires careful handling of calls, ensuring callers are put through to the correct person and team.
