**Position: Human Resources Business Partner**

**Location**: Hull College, Hull

**Salary**: Scale S02 - £33,096 per annum

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent, 37 hours per week

**About Hull College**:
**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the primary HR contact for several Institutes within the college, managing all aspects of HR practice.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement best practices across the college.
- Provide expert advice and support to managers and staff on a range of HR issues including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and staff development.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and college policies and procedures.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Support organisational change initiatives and workforce planning.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR services and organisational performance.

**Essential Qualifications and Experience**:

- Generalist HR experience, with a strong understanding of various HR functions.
- CIPD level 5 qualification or above, along with an interest in continued professional development
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of resilience and diligence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
