The post holder will work as part of the Adult Social Care programme team, providing business support to the Learning Disability and Autism programme.

The post holder will provide and coordinate administrative and secretarial services; including the co-ordination of meetings with internal and external stakeholders undertaking appropriate preparation and follow-up action as required.

The post holder will support the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary for the colleagues.

The post holder will be required to be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work, as well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

We need someone really adept at day-to-day admin coordination, proficient in Microsoft Office, supported by strong planning and organising experience, with the ability to extend this to supporting project work and documentation.

The post will work on a hybrid basis including office-based and will involve some travel within Greater Manchester to support training and development activities.

Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) are partnerships of health and care organisations that come together to plan and deliver joined up services and to improve the health and wellbeing of people who live and work in their area. Their purpose is to improve outcomes in population health and healthcare; tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience, and access; enhance productivity and value for money and support broader social and economic development in their area efficiency. This will be delivered in neighbourhood, place, combinations of places and GM system.

Main Duties

You will provide administrative support for a number of projects in the Learning Disability and Autism Programme

You will provide administrative support for the development and implementation of projects and initiatives.

You will support with co-ordinating resources effectively, ensuring that project documentation is prepared and shared in accordance with project timetables and deadlines.

You will be expected to support the organisation and administration of events and activities - in the planning and on the day event support, working with Programme Leads from across the team.

You will support the administration of communications and planning activities across stakeholder groups to ensure effective and impactful delivery of programmes.

You will need to work autonomously, prioritise your own workload and act on own initiative to meet agreed deadlines
