STRATEGIC SOURCING BUYER - WEST LONDON - GLOBAL FOOD COMPANY - 12M FTC - £40,000 - £50,000

As part of an ongoing global transformation, an opportunity has arisen for a sorucing buyer to join a best-in-class procurement function.

Sititng within the procurement services sourcing team, you will be responsible for running sourcing activities for some of the biggest names in the food and beverage industry

The role covers all customers and works together with our product, category, commercial and vendor teams to deliver value to our clients through our running of sourcing events.

The Strategic Sourcing Buyer will be responsible for:

- Managing sourcing events / suppliers to deliver results that align with client needs
- Managing sourcing processes with internal and external stakeholders (RFI/RFP)
- Negotiate supplier agreements and contracts in partnership with key stakeholders
- Draft, award contracts with suppliers linked to KPI's
- Work with peer group to optimise and leverage supplier resources
- Developing expertise and benchmarking knowledge of assigned categories and major suppliers
- Support & assist the senior sourcing buyers with their own complex reviews

The Strategic Sourcing Buyer will have:

- Global sourcing experience would be desirable.
- Have the ability to influence various stakeholders - communicating with real passion, ownership and commitment
