- **Job Summary**:_
- As a _**Tipi**_**Quality Controller**_ _in our Canvas Department, you will be responsible for the final inspection and finishing of all tipi components, ensuring that every product meets our strict quality standards. You will also carry out a variety of hands-on tasks, including installing eyelets, adding lacing, and preparing all products for dispatch. This role involves significant manual handling, requiring physical fitness and a keen eye for detail._

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough quality checks on all canvas components before dispatch - not only inspecting the whole design, but the individual design details also.
- Measure and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Install eyelets, add lacing, and complete final product finishing.
- Pack all tipi components, ensuring all parts are included and correctly stored.
- Check component lists against order specifications.
- Prepare and pack straps and other accessories.
- Maintain accurate stock records and store materials in the correct locations.
- Load products for dispatch, ensuring safe handling and transport.
- Welcome clients visiting our head office who are coming to collect their order, and assist them with loading their order onto their vehicle.
- Receive, unpack, and store raw materials upon delivery, feeding into management stock control and any issues arisen.
- Keep production areas clean and organised, ensuring high standards of care and cleanliness.
- Carry out occasional driving duties, including delivering and collecting materials.

**Requirements**:

- Physically fit with the ability to carry and handle heavy loads.
- Valid UK driving licence (must-have)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Friendly, presentable hard-working, and a team player with a can-do attitude.
- Open to learning and growing as an individual.
- Organised and able to manage a varied workload efficiently.
- Willing to learn and adapt to different tasks within the production team.
- Experience using workshop tools and equipment (ideal).
- Telehandler & forklift truck driving experience (ideal)
