The Successful Quality Controller - Package

Salary - £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
*
Shifts - Monday to Thursday, 8AM to 4PM & Friday, 8AM to 3PM
*
Overtime available at 1.5x
*

The Successful Quality Controller – Duties
*
Inspect precision-engineered components (visual and dimensional)
*
Use a range of measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, CMM where applicable)
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
*
Conduct in-process and final inspections to agreed tolerances
*
Complete and maintain quality documentation (FAIR, inspection reports, NCRs, etc.)
*
Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues
*
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process
*
Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards
The Successful Quality Controller – Requirements
*
Proven background in a manufacturing/engineering environment
*
Strong understanding of precision component manufacturing processes
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*
Proficient in using hand-held measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.)
*
Knowledge of CMM equipment and programming (desirable)
*
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
*
Good communication and teamwork skills
*
Flexible and proactive approach to work
