**The Role

We are a market-leading provider of tailored independent financial advice, looking to appoint an Operations Support Administrator based at our Huddersfield Head office to provide administrative and operational support to various areas of our growing financialadvice business.
Standard office hours are 9am until 5pm (35 hours) with up to 1 hour lunch break.
**Key Responsibilities**
The key responsibilities of an Operations Support Administrator include, but are not limited to:
- Receptionist duties including handling and transferring incoming calls and taking and distributing messages.
- Processing daily post including scanning and logging relevant items and forwarding any items to the relevant adviser.
- Providing administrative support for several key internal business processes.
- Liaising with 3rd party suppliers to produce adviser stationery including business cards and personalised letterhead.
- Monitoring stationery supply levels and ordering both stationery and printing supplies when necessary.
- Dealing with admin related queries logged on our helpdesk software Zendesk
- Greeting guests and providing them with refreshments.
- Booking of hotels, venues and food for various adviser events, induction courses and board meetings
- Logging and banking cheques from clients
- New staff preparation - Setting up parking, access to the building, providing relevant documentation/forms
- Providing admin support to the Operations team.
- Other ad hoc duties that arise on a week-by-week basis

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of an Operations Support Administrator are:
- Experience in administration and a busy office environment (preferable but not essential).
- Able to work in a team and alone to meet goals.
- Confident in using your own initiative as well as work from the instruction of others.
- The ability to be flexible in responding to the needs of the business.
- Proficient in IT.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel.
- Confident on the phone and face to face.
- Strong communicator across various media and levels of seniority within the business.
