Enfield, United Kingdom Enfield Council Full time

Enfield Youth Justice Service (YJS) are looking to recruit a full time victim worker to fill a vacant post within our Victim, Restorative Justice (RJ) and Referral Order Team.

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and successful service, which is accredited with the Restorative Justice Quality Mark, that provides advice and support to victims of crime and parents, guardian or carers of child victims. We also work with children who offend to raise their awareness of the harm caused by their offending behaviour.

As a victim and RJ worker, you will be responsible for contacting and liaising with victims of crime, working directly with victims and children who offend and working on Restorative Justice Interventions. The role also requires you to maintain detailed and accurate records of your contacts and prepare written reports to assist with risk assessment in accordance with the Code of Practice for Victims.

High level interpersonal and organisational skills are essential together with the ability to work to policy and procedure.

If you are interested in this interesting and challenging role and you believe that you meet the essential criteria, then please apply.
