**Quality Inspector (Goods Inwards)**

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our clients Good Inwards team. As a Goods Inwards Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that goods received from suppliers meet the criteria of the purchase order and are compliant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough Goods Inward inspections for all component parts entering the company, ensuring compliance with design specifications and contractual requirements.
- Identify and document any non-conformances to specification requirements.
- Generate internal inspection reports.
- Review external inspection reports and certification supplied with delivered products to ensure they meet required standards and are fully compliant.
- Produce and maintain accurate inspection records and work to reduce goods inwards inspection frequency by identifying positive compliance trends.
- Ensure that all inspection equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and stored.
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to determine the most practical and efficient goods inwards inspection criteria and methods.
- Support in evaluating the capability of the good's inwards inspection equipment.
- Maintain the quarantine area.
- Provide statistical information to establish goods inwards inspection Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with documentation control requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship.
- Experience in measuring mechanical components to drawings and speificcations using various inspection methods and tools.
- Experience of compiling reports.
- Ability to read and understand engineering tolerances and drawings.
- Time served experience within goods inwards inspection.
- Experience with MRP, ERP, CAQ systems
- Use of FARO measurement arm.
