We are a leading eCommerce fulfilment solutions business, our headquarters are in Christchurch, and we have a new state-of-the-art office space near Bournemouth Airport. Due to continued expansion, we now have the opportunity for an Inventory Supervisor to join our team who work multi-site between Hurn and Christchurch.

The role will involve supervising the inventory team to manage stock accuracy, movements, investigations, and auditing while driving efficiencies and process improvements.

**Key areas of responsibility**:

- Auditing stock using our BLADE WMS system
- Ensuring pick-face locations are continuously replenished with fast moving products.
- Working in parallel with the goods in team to ensure stock is located in the most
- opportunistic locations to improve efficiencies downstream
- Safe use of our VNA forklifts to manage stock locations based on sales data & trend analysis
- Working with the dispatch team remedying bottlenecks to ensure all orders are shipped
- within SLA
- To supervise the day-to-day performance and effectiveness of the inventory team
- Inducting new staff and ensuring their competency and confidence in the role.
- Hold regular staff catch ups, maintain a communication culture within the team that develops two-way feedback and ensures open communication on a regular basis and at all levels.
- Oversee any staffing issues ensuring these are accurately dealt with
- To oversee Health and Safety and adhere to all H&S policies and procedures and to escalate any issues that may arise to the H&S Manager
- To ensure clean and tidy working environment and that staff are using all required PPE
- Ensuring work is carried out to a high-quality standard.
- Key holder responsibility including unlocking and locking work premises
- Any other duties as assigned

- Have significant self-motivation and initiative with the ability to manage own workload and work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Ability to work supportively as part of a team and with a friendly and
- approachable personality.
- Possess a high degree of accuracy and ability to work within required standards.
- Leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage others.
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the business.

As the role will involve travel between sites, you must be able to travel to each location.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 5.30 p.m. or as directed by business needs.
