An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client, an elite level, tier 1 firm that has achieved and holds a number of esteemed accolades within the industry. This firm operates in a number of locations not only across the UK but also the global market too, making meaningful and lasting impacts wherever it goes.

The role available here is for a corporate associate to join the well experienced and friendly team in Guildford. This firm had learnt a lot from the COVID-19 situation and is extremely keen to carry on the teachings that were there to be had. For this reason, the firm will adopt a hybrid working approach, working 60% of time in the office and 40% remotely.

This roles purpose is to provide key support within the team on a variety of corporate transactions, including (but not limited to) private M&A, private equity and other third party investment into private companies and joint ventures and other general corporate and commercial work.

The role will suit someone who is looking to develop their career supporting a wide variety of clients within a friendly collegiate team that is widely recognised for its expertise in this area.

This is an exciting role for an ambitious lawyer with the personality and drive to commit themselves to first rate client service and to making a contribution towards the Guildford Corporate Team's growth plans.

As the employer in question is such a high level firm, it is important that you as an individual have the right drive and mentality to maintain the high standards that its clients have come to expect.

As an individual, you must:

- Be a solicitor qualified in England and Wales or equivalent between NQ and 4 PQE
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Commercial awareness, financial acumen and business-like approach to both legal practice and business development
- Good team working and interpersonal skills
- Effective decision making and judgement skills

The salary for this role is negotiable upon interview but this employer offers some of the most competitive salaries in the market.
