**Experience required**:
- A very experienced administrator with ideally a minimum of two years generalist HR experience in a manufacturing/commercial environment.
- The job holder must have good spoken and written communication skills, work accurately with good attention to detail, be a team player, able to use initiative, and respect confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are critical to the role. The job holder must have problem solving skills and be able to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to use databases, spreadsheets, and word processing packages is essential.
**Mission Details**:
**BOSTIK LTD - STAFFORD**
- To undertake administrative duties to support the HR Manager/Director in the delivery of a health and safety culture within the organisation including the provision of statistical information, maintaining records on First Aid, Fire training, etc.
- To undertake administrative duties supporting various HR and Payroll policies and processes including starters, leavers, transfers, terminations, maternity and paternity leave (and other forms of special leave), probation procedure, pensions, private medical insurance, long service awards, other terms and conditions of employment.
- Responsible for recruitment activities, i.e. Job postings, CV screening and scheduling interviews.
- To undertake duties supporting the use of the HR Information System, T&A System and Payroll System including inputting changes onto system, sending out relevant contractual information, chasing queries with managers, liaising with payroll to resolve queries, processing payments, etc.
- To maintain and update manual and computerised HR Information Systems.
- To contribute to the achievement of departmental KPI’s, including health and safety, quality and environmental.
- To ensure all monthly, quarterly and yearly actions are completed in a timely manner.
- To prepare regular and ad hoc management information reports (e.g. monthly headcount reports, absence reports, etc).
- To support the HR Advisor or other members of the management team with investigations, disciplinary and appeal meetings.
- To manage employee absences, update Time & Attendance system and implement company procedures for payment as appropriate.
- To support the HR Advisor with short term sickness absence. This includes making recommendations, giving advice and support to managers and liaising with Occupational Health where necessary.
**Long Description**:
- To provide efficient and effective administrative support for the HR department, ensuring service users are provided with key information on HR processes and procedures. To assist in the processing of employee data by utilising the Human Resources Information System.
- Contributes to the maintenance of effective administrative HR systems to ensure the company meets its obligations to employees and meets regulatory and legislative requirements.
