**Overview**:
Ragu Pasta is a haven for fresh pasta enthusiasts, crafting all our pasta in-house on a daily basis. Our menu will be simple (10 pasta dishes, 5 sides) and authentic using the best quality Italian ingredients.

Our restaurant holds over 120 covers, and our business plan is based on turning over circa 500 covers per day (700 covers Saturday) once established.

**Hourly rate range**: 11.50 - 14.50 per hour (incl. Tronc)

**Responsibilities**:
The role of a floor staff is the key of our business. As a floor staff member, your responsibilities are:

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Serve food and beverages to guests with attention to detail and presentation
- Making proficient sales transactions - using a point-of-sale system
- Properly checks I.D.s - for guests who appear to be under 25 years old
- Demonstrating responsible alcohol service
- Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions or concerns
- Handling cash & other forms of payment
- Answering questions - accurately and politely
- Satisfying any/all needs of the guests - regularly double checking back regarding the food and their experience
- Maintaining a clean & organized station - including pre-bussing & table maintenance
- Handling opening, closing, and side duties such as station setup/breakdown, condiment replenishment etc.
- Demonstrating knowledge of all table/station numbers
- Effectively communicating with co-workers
- High standard of customer service

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in the hospitality sector
- Ability to perform tasks involving bending, reaching, lifting, and prolonged standing
- Maintaining a well-groomed appearance
- Following all uniform guidelines
- Strict adherence to safety & sanitation standards
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency
- Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£14.50 per hour
