Aircraft Refueller

**Job description**

Bournemouth International Airport currently requires Aircraft Refuelling Technicians to work on a Full-Time basis.

The postholders will ensure that into-plane refuelling and fuel storage operations are carried out in accordance with Company Operating Procedures and that high levels of customer services and Health & Safety standards are always shown.

**Main Responsibilities of the role**
- To ensure that all operations are completed to the highest standards in accordance with customer, airport, health and safety, HM Customs, security, environmental compliance and BIAL regulations and procedures.
- Complying with and maintaining the integrity of all Company safety and operational standards.
- Correct recording of all stock movement and sales.
- Operating correct emergency procedures in the event of incidents.
- Acting as the first point of contact with customers and maintaining the highest standard of customer service levels.
- Participating in training and maintaining competency in all procedures associated with the handling of Aviation Product and into-plane refuelling operation.
- Maintaining all necessary records on refuelling / product quality activity.
- Duties are split between 2 key areas of operations: 1) Aircraft Refuelling and 2) Fuel Storage
- Working varied times on a shift pattern that encompasses early starts and late finishes
- A flexible approach to shift working is required, including changes in shift pattern, rostering and start / finish times in order that the Company can maintain cover as required to suit the needs of the business.

**Job Type**: Full Time / Basic 36 hours per week

**Essential Requirements**:

- HGV/LGV class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Strong customer service skills and experience is essential
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
- Strong numerical and data inputting skills are essential
- Strong values around health and safety and experience
- Comfortable to work alone and within a diverse cultural team, providing teamwork support
- Ability to be flexible when working the varied shift pattern, especially at weekends and when overtime may be required

**Please note that the pay award for April 2025 has yet to be agreed. Your salary will increase to the agreed rate and backdated to 1 April 2025 (or your start date if after 1 April 2025) once negotiations have concluded**
