**Underwriting Support Assistant**
**Leeds City Centre**
**Monday - Friday -3 days in the office and 2 days from home**
**£23,000 - £25,000 & Excellent Benefits**
**Are you looking to start a career within underwriting?**
We're actively recruiting for an Underwriting Support Assistant to join our reputable insurance organisation based in Leeds City Centre on a permanent basis. Our client operates Monday - Friday working 2 days from home and 3 from the office.
**What you'll be doing**:

- Providing and maintaining a good standard of underwriting support to the team.
- Accurate and timely input of data into relevant underwriting systems.
- Liaising with brokers as required.
- Helping to develop and maintain strong working relationships within the team and the wider business
- Requesting and reviewing survey reports and issuing risk requirements to brokers.
- Managing diary items and chasing responses.
- Assisting the team and wider business with ad hoc projects.

**What we're looking for**:

- Excellent written, spoken communication and numerical skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Be computer literate
- Be studying for/or be willing to study for CII qualifications - Supported
- Actively wanting a longer term career within insurance
