Reporting directly to the European Group ISO, this is the 1st role of its kind, for my client, a European Cybersecurity business partner with x 14 European offices with x500 people/staff, headquartered in Munich (TEAM of 14 IT people in Munich). The currentt/o is $700m with a target to be $1.5bn in 3 years. Currently, this is a Greenfield site with nobody having done this role before and a newly formed Information Sand Cyber Security steerage committee formulating the strategy of which you will research discovervalidate and deliver against.
This BRAND newly created InfoSec Analyst role will see you work from home x3 days of the week and 2 from the office although there is flexibility to suit personal circumstances from time to time.
As a InfoSec Analyst, you will be the Security Research project delivery person delivering on the strategy and direction of the Security Steerage committee and you will be the right-hand w/man to the Information Security Officer and the person who deliver theSecurity solutions by researching suitable tools and technology, test and implement with the IT team in Munich.
The InfoSec Analyst will be a focal point for the European business to:

- Research NEW Security tools and technology to meet the demands of the business as created by the steerage committee.
- Test the solutions against existing infrastructure and meet policy requirements. eg ISO 2700x/ISO9001.
- Project Discovery.... How to solve common
- Building & Testing New Systems
- Security Operations awareness, (experience in a SOC or Incident Management beneficial)
This InfoSec Analyst role will suit a person who has a real deep dive interest in Cyber Security, someone who enjoys keeping abreast of the latest threats and technology and who is keen to be the project researcher and delivery person for the ISO and IMS steeringteam. Ideally, you'll have experience in Security Operations and Incident Management and have experience working in an end-user environment, delivering IT Security projects. It is expected you have between 5-10 years in a similar role with exposure to SOC/IncidentMgmt.
