This opportunity is to work in a new division within my Insurance client based in the City of London.

PLEASE note; this is a 100% Hands-Off position and is NOT reporting to IT.

The role is focussed on Cyber and IT Security within an UNDERWRITING & CLAIMS Business Division.

We are looking for Senior Cyber & InfoSec Experts who really fancy a change.

ROLE PROFILE:
Senior Cyber and IT Security Risk Expert - Reporting into the Head of Underwriting

Functions will include:

- Support the underwriting and claims teams by enhancing their knowledge and assessment of infosec products, network security design choices and client infosec culture. This includes developing the teams' understanding of the advantages and disadvantagesof choices made as well as alternative options that could have been implemented and the implications of those decisions.
- Supporting the underwriting team by assisting the line of business head in developing and maintaining an infosec posture grading methodology that allows underwriters to readily compare the merits or otherwise of one client posture against another. Thismethodology should take account of threats or risks inherent within industry types and size /nature of the footprint.
- Work with underwriting and actuarial teams to update/ refine underwriting modelling and analysis to incorporate changes in network security and information environment
- Work with underwriting management / legal on updating/refining policy terms and conditions in response to changes in network security environment
- Support Claims function on complex matters providing insight on technical aspects of claims adjustment
- Support team in presentations to senior management and third parties (e.g. reinsurers) on work performed within Cyber underwriting and claims teams
- Liaise and work with peers in the US and Global Network Security team to keep the knowledge base current and on specific projects supporting the underwriting/claims team and the wider business if required

This new Cyber/IT Risk position is based in my client's prestigious head office in the heart of the city, London
