Job Title: Senior PMO Analyst Location: South Manchester - Hybrid mix of onsite and remote. Advantage Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of a growing technology business in Manchester for a Senior PMO Analyst to enforce best practise governance on assigned programmes. Our client needs a Senior PMO Analyst to ensure project information is captured, stored and logged in a logical clear manner in one source, and ensure best practice and governance is adhered to and monitored. It's important that you understand informationis not just "received' information, but you know how to challenge where necessary, being meticulous about the clarity of messaging, accuracy of data and consistency of format. Working effectively with Project and Programme Managers you will need to demonstrate your expertise in PMO, taking accountability across Governance, Scope & Controls, Stakeholder engagement, Reporting & RAID management, Planning, Cost, Resource & BenefitManagement. Your role - A clearly defined path of maturity, helping the programme to follow Portfolio Office best practice and process - Thinks of alternative ways and means of reaching maturity - Quickly understand the obstacles and removes them - Challenge, provide insight and ensure governance is adhered to The above is in addition to the role of a PMO Analyst, who should demonstrate an ability to: - Provide accurate actions in complex forums - Hold people to account for delivery - Pro-actively ensure milestones are adhered to and diarise commitments - Pro-actively ensure documents are configured, stored and logged in one place - Ensures key documents are updated and reviewed **Skills and Experiences - Essential** - Experience workinginaPMO role performing having been accountable for;- Governance, Scope & Controls - Stakeholder Engagement - Reporting & RAID Mgmt. - Planning - Cost, Resource & Benefit Mgmt. - Exceptional collaboration and relationship development/management skills including with the confidence to effectively challenge others where appropriate. - Excellent communication and drafting skills with an ability to filter/interpret technical programme updates and provide clear, concise reports for non-technical audiences. - Attention to detail and an analytical ability to help propose solutions to problems and appropriately prioritise activities. - Strong initiative and drive, self-motivated with an aptitude to work well under pressure and with low supervision. - Be able to influence senior individuals and be resilient in reaching the end goal. - Be tenacious in succeeding and be pedantic about detail, information grammar, look, feel and layout.
