THE ROLE
- Work ranges through SFO/FCA/HMRC and other law enforcement investigations; international development bank investigations and debarment related work; internal investigations and self-reporting/voluntary disclosures to the SFO, FCA, HMRC (Tax and export controls),ICO and OFSI; risk advisory work covering bribery, fraud, cyber, AML, sanctions, and export controls.
- Investigations and compliance work frequently spanning multiple jurisdictions.
- Multi-disciplinary teams, including internal Forensic Accountants and Financial Investigators.
- Long-term career prospects and progression will be encouraged

THE CANDIDATE
- England and Wales Qualified Solicitor, 5-8 years PQE
- Experience of advising companies in connection with white collar / economic crime investigations and prosecutions (focus on corporate fraud, bribery and corruption, money laundering and tax frauds)
- Experience in criminal defence of financial services and/or OFGEM investigations, MLRs, tax/VAT, sanctions and other regulatory offences (Advantageous)
- High degree of technical ability with a strong commercial awareness.
- Strong academic background with excellent communication and organization skills
