**Salary**:£36,000

Situated on a magnificent 1200-acre campus of rolling countryside, woodland and a working arable farm, Lord Wandsworth College (LWC) provides an inspiring education to approximately 700 boarding and day pupils (co-ed) aged 11-18.

Following the continued growth of the College, this is a superb opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational professional with a wealth of experience in coaching and leading Girls’ sport, who is looking for an opportunity to make a real difference.

The Head of Girls Sport will also lead the Netball programme at LWC as well as overseeing all aspects of girls involvement and athletic development in all sports. The person will carry out the professional duties of a Head of Girls Sport overseeing and coaching a vast array of different sports and activities. In addition, this role will monitor and develop Girls’ sport throughout the College, co-coordinating the Girls’ sport programme for the entire College and its fixtures, to enhance the sporting performance, tracking and management of Girl’s sport.

The Head of Girls Sport will work with the Graduate Sports Assistants and Heads of Sport to oversee professional aspects of our programme such as performance analysis, strength and conditioning, sports psychology, and nutrition.

This role will take a lead into the strategic plans for the development of sport, sports coaching and high-performance environments supporting our 2030 strategy and provide advice and support to all staff in their dealings with parents; to meet and advise parents on academic/sporting matters.

You will be a great communicator, engaging with pupils, parents and staff plus have the ability to communicate effectively via different social media platforms.
