**About the role**:
To deliver English qualifications to 16-19 year old learners alongside their vocational studies at our Highbury campus. In addition to delivering to 19+ adult learners who wish to improve their English skills and gain recognised qualifications. Students will study across a range of courses which include; Functional Skills Entry, Level 1 to Level 2 as well as GCSE.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To teach on a range of programmes, providing high quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of individual students/apprentices and groups in line with the College’s strategic priorities and objectives.
- To provide flexible assessment opportunities and closely plan, monitor, track and record student/apprentice retention, achievement and success.
- To contribute to the development and delivery of high quality, relevant curriculum and programmes. Curriculum Development responsibilities include:

- Actively cntributing to the development of new programmes within the curriculum area

**To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you**:

- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant area
- Experience of teaching/ training and assessing students with learning difficulties and disabilities at Entry Level in relation to Independent Living and Work Skills
- Ability to meet targets within set timescales
- Ability to work well in teams but also to work independently, with the minimum of supervision
