**Finance Assistant / Permanent / Crowle / Thorne area / up to £28,000**
Ash Consulting are working with a specialist contracting and installation business based from a rural headquarters between Crowle and Thorne in South Yorkshire. The company seek to appoint an experienced and confident Finance Assistant to join their small, relaxed and friendly team.
Reporting to the Operations Director the role will be all encompassing in the assembly of financial data, ledger control, credit control and payroll for around 30 staff.
**Key duties will include;**
- Reconciliation of main bank account daily
- Reconciliation of credit card statements monthly
- Banking and posting any cheques received
- All aspects of Purchase Ledger, matching invoices to stock system, posting invoices to Sage, processing payment runs
- Overseeing the Purchase Ledger function
- Maintain Sales Ledger
- All administration duties related to the accounts department
- A number of years’ experience in a varied Accounts Assistant position
- Ideally experience of Sage, though training can be provided on this
- Payroll experience
- Effective credit control
- A can do attitude who enjoys responsibility and likes to see jobs through to a conclusion
- Good communicator with strong conviction in credit control management
- Any experience of balance sheet reconciliations a big plus
- Any AAT (Full or part) qualification or related
