Senior Residential Support Worker

**Job Overview**
**Duties**:
- Develop and implement personalised care plans tailored to the individual needs of clients.
- Provide direct support to children, assisting with daily activities and promoting their wellbeing.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Drive children to appointments or activities as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made, utilising IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Engage in activities that promote social interaction and personal development for children in your care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic support services.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience working in a residential setting with children and young people.
- NVQ level 3 health and social care, children and young people, or equivalent, required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to drive is required; a valid driving licence is essential for this role.
- Familiarity with creating and following care plans.
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes is beneficial.
- A compassionate nature with a commitment to enhancing the lives of those you support is crucial.
- A good team player.
Pay: £13.45-£14.75 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
